Excellent Monitor
I had a 22 inch monitor, decided to get a 24″ monitor to be easier to read and this did not disappoint. It is plenty big so I don’t have to lean in to read my screen anymore and the blue light feature is incredible. If I want to watch a sporting event I can turn it off and have excellent picture color and quality, but for work and not trying to fry what’s left of my vision, the blue light feature is great and you can dim it with one click too, so my vision isn’t so wrecked after a day of work. I got it on sale for 99 and felt like the value at that price was excellent. Also, it swivels and will go up and down, which was something I was looking for.

This monitor fits my need for daily work. I do like the size which is not too big. For daily work this monitor is a great choice.

Couldn’t Get Much Better
My 20 year old computer speakers conked out, so I was able to reclaim that space on my desk, which allowed me to move my monitor further back by about 6 inches. The existing 20″ monitor wouldn’t cut the mustard any longer, so I purchased this Samsung 24″ monitor to take its place. It has fit into its new space quite nicely and is just the right size. In my case, the 27 inch monitor would’ve been too big and unwieldy.As for performance, I am completely pleased with this monitor, as I was with the previous 20″ Samsung . Samsung does know how to build a TV and a computer monitor, for sure. I found a couple of online test patterns that allowed me to set colors, contrast and hues to perfectly match my preferences for viewing. An unexpected plus was the inclusion of a built in 4 port USB hub, which allowed me to discard the old D-Link hub that I had on my desk that was used for connection of my web camera and keyboard.I’m using the HDMI video input, and the image quality is outstanding. The monitor also includes input connections for Dataport and VGA cables. I purchased my own high quality 10′ HDMI cable, but a decent HDMI and Dataport cable are included with the monitor. Those cables appear to be about 6′ in length. I did not unfurl them to check. A VGA cable is NOT included. THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS IN THIS MONITOR. Sound will need to come from external speakers. I’m using a spare $59 Anker Soundcore bluetooth speaker for sound. It’s an absolute beast for such a small and inexpensive package.Some folks will likely dislike the fact that there are no control buttons on the front of the monitor. The power button is located on the BACK of the monitor, at the lower right hand corner. I originally thought that this would be much more inconvenient than it has been. Monitor adjustments are made by moving the power button up/down or left/right. Not a problem for me; YMMV.The monitor comes with a stand that appears to be rather substantial, but I did not use it. Since I was moving the monitor further back on my desk, I bought a separate VESA mounting stand that allows me to raise and position the monitor for an optimum viewing angle. It’s worked out great. The VESA pattern on this monitor is 100×100.Considering the fact that I was able to score this monitor on sale at Amazon for $99, this has been a fantastic buy.

Included Cables Are Too Short to Use
I ordered the 24-inch monitor on October 21, 2022 but was unable to use it right away because all of the included cables were too short to make a connection to my computer. The monitor comes with the power cord, a USB cable, a display port cable, and an HDMI cable. There was not a VGA cable included but if there was, you would not have been able to use it because all of the cables are only 3 feet in length and would not connect to anything for me. So, I had to order a cable in order to use the monitor. If you plan on ordering this monitor, please order a cable so that you will be able to use it once received.The monitor has a good display and seems to be working as expected. The main feature that I was looking for was height adjustment because of the location of my monitor and it does have this feature. However, my next biggest complaint is that the power button is difficult to use because it is located on the back of the monitor. And, the power button is a toggle type button! What was Samsung thinking? There is a lot room on the front of the monitor where the button could have been placed so I am disappointed about that. I am not experiencing any of the complaints that everyone is having but will do an update to my review as needed.

I was looking for an external monitor to use while I work from home – business use. I made the mistake and bought a cheap $170 ASUS display for gaming thinking, if it is good for gaming it must be good for document editing. I could not be further from the truth. I sold it and bought this Samsung display twice the price and ten times the capability.This Samsung display has everything, and I mean everything except speakers which are not needed when connected to a laptop.Big 27″ bright and smooth display. Document text is rendered beautifully and my presentations are sharp. Movies look great on it, especially animated films.Assembly was a breeze. No screws or tools needed.The screen rotates between landscape and portrait …. awesome sauce! I can display the entire document page and plus a bit more.The display swivels right and left and slides up and down just by a push, no levers or buttons to control. So basically, you can rotate this display screen in all three axis with a touch.It has tons of ports and comes with tons of cables, including HDMI, display port, and USB.It has a very thin bezel making it very elegant.I love sitting in front of this display to work.

Since working from home due to the pandemic I was working using my 14” laptop screen and ended up with tired eyes or headaches. I looked for a Samsung monitor similar to the one I have for work and I found this which is way better. Nice color quality, big enough and my eyes are not longer getting tired. And the Price was right.Speedy delivery as well it came directly from Samsung and arrived the next day.
