Pleasantly surprised
I haven’t had the best of luck with refurb’s so I was super hesitant to purchase these, but I couldn’t afford new and needed 2 phones so I took the plunge and purchased. I was pleasantly surprised, they were in excellent condition. No visible blemishes, batteries charge fine (I haven’t had them long enough to comment yet on battery life but if its an issue I will come back and edit review). One of the phones showed up as a “t mobile” phone so I was a bit concerned knowing about the reviews of some phones being unlocked, and I use twigby cellular which runs off verizon networks, but both phones were unlocked and had zero issues connecting. Happy with purchase.

instructions? LOCKED phone; when it says UNLOCKED…..
No instruction booklet with phones…no chargers to plug into an the cord does not fit the stanard ones ; only cord and key enclosed. I did at least expect to receive directions for the phone! But the phone looks like it is in excellent condition as stated; but we have not even charged them yet to see the complete product. Phone were deliverd very quickly. Phone wasto be unlocked, BUTit came locked to verizon so we cannot use it with our carrier AT&T! Want a replacement but have to wait until they get it back; so we are without a phone for who knows how long. NOT Happy at all! Will change review if this all works out ASAP.

Excellent Refurbed Phone, Very Pleased
I’ve been wanting to upgrade from an inexpensive and slow 4G Motorola phone with 32GB to something 5G, with 128GB, from a name brand, and much faster. I’d narrowed down my search to a Pixel 6a/7a or this Samsung A54. This A54 model seemed like it was better quality and with fewer complaints, so the next task was finding something I could afford. Which meant shopping for a refurbished phone.Of course, I was leery about buying a used phone, and whether it would be scratched up, locked, or some other problem might make me regret buying a refurbished product. I was also worried that the phone I received would not run on Visible, a Verizon subsidiary, since many A54s phones seem to be GMA and only run on T-Mobile/AT&T. This particular phone from this seller was one of the lower-priced refurbs — about half the cost of a new Samsung A54, and the seller had good customer reviews, so I decided to take a chance and order it.Now that I’ve activated this phone and set it up to my liking, I can say that I’m thrilled with the purchase. The phone arrived fully functional, just 48 hours after I ordered it. It was unlocked as promised, and I had no trouble activating it on Visible. The condition of the phone is pristine–not a single scratch or ding. It came in a white, Amazon Renewed box, as expected, and a USB cable and charger were included. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase so far, and look forward to using my new and much faster 5G Samsung phone!

It works!
I was sent a Samsung Model SM-A546U. Everything arrived in good nick. I’ve had this up and running for a few days now. I upgraded from an A12 that was really slow. This is a major improvement. I have Verizon as a service provider, and all I’ve done so far is install the Verizon SIM. The setup was a bit strange. It told me I didn’t have an AT&T SIM, but I just kept going. It flashes the AT&T logo when it cold boots, but aside from the AT&T apps that I don’t seem to be able to remove, it functions flawlessly. It bugged me constantly for a software update, but I suspect it was from AT&T because I get an error message saying the update was interrupted and to try again in 24 hours. I shut off the notification because it simply kept repeating the error message. I’m not sure how to remedy that. I used Samsung Smart Switch to load the stuff from the old phone. I also pulled the micro SD from the old A12 and installed it in the A54. The difference between the two was the placement of the SIM and SD card. Side by side in the A12, and opposite sides for the A54. All in all, I’m pleased with the purchase except for the software update thing.

Nothing but regret over this purchase. I’ve had the phone for 12 days. It arrived in a basic box with a charger and cable, but no tool for opening the SIM card slot. Initially, the phone powered up okay, and I was able to do smart switch fine and reconnect all of my things. But I noticed that the charging cable wasn’t saying securely in the phone. Cables that works perfectly fine with my old phone, we’re just slipping out of this.I know the charging port could just be dirty, so I did take a look at that and try to clean it out as best as I could, although obvious dust and dirt that was built up in the charging port from day one should have been a red flag. and that helped a little bit, but it still didn’t have the same hold that my old phone did.Next up were the restarts. Sometimes the phone will just randomly restart on its own, out of nowhere, with decent battery life. It happened about four times in the space of the 12 days I’ve had the phone.A couple of times, the phone would sketch out, and either the screen or the apps would become unresponsive to my touch, which force me to have to remove the phone.The final straw, and the reason I have just initiated a return on this thing is because today, after I left the house for work I noticed the display was very dark – – I know it was dark, because I had said the display that way, but I wasn’t able to pull the menu down to adjust the brightness at all. I thought, no big deal I’ll just reboot it again (although to be Frank, 12 days in, this is already a lot). I could bring up the menu for powering off the phone and rebooting, but nothing would happen when I touch the buttons. I had to basically press down or hold the button really hard to get it to respond, and eventually it did, but even that some 5 minutes. Then when the phone turns back on, I couldn’t unlock it. It would recognize the initial swipe to allow me to put my password in, but then wouldn’t respond to any touches. That’s the state it’s in right now. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to still get my information off of it or wipe it before I send it back because this is absolutely ridiculous.This is my first time purchasing a refurbished phone, and I can tell you that it’s definitely going to be my last. It’s not worth the gamble.

Por el momento tengo tres días de uso y todo bien, llegó como nuevo sin ningún detalle en la pantalla ni el cuerpo del teléfono. Con un cargador genérico muy raro que la verdad no he utilizado eso sí la carga es algo lenta y uso un cargador de 20 de Motorola. Viene liberado,yo uso Movistar y todo bien
