Works GREAT for transferring files to and from an iPhone or iPad device.
For the price, this does its job remarkably well. In the iOS universe, they don’t go out of their way to make anything like this particularly user friendly, but that is no reflection on this device itself.It is actually plug-and-play in all devices. Insert the SD card and then VOILA! you have access to the contents of that card. On newer iOS devices (I believe it is iOS 13 and up, which most phones after 2017 have) it will allow for both the reading and transfer of files.For non-technical jargon, you just need to navigate to your FILES app (search for that on your phone and it’ll be there). Now the tough part is that you’ll need to click the top-left corner and you’ll see spots like My iCloud, iPhone storage, etc. This is usually going to be near the bottom of that list, but just click on that and you’ll see the files that are on the card.If you want to transfer photos from your iPhone to the card, just select them all in the Photos app and click COPY. Then hold down in the FILES app until PASTE appears, and there they go. There are other ways to transfer between those two as well (such as the Send To function).Another bonus is that this device will actually let an additional lightning cable connect to it and charge your device while it is reading/writing from the SD card. That’s not terribly amazing, but it perhaps allows some people to always leave this dongle attached for active video transmission or something of that nature.Basically, this thing does its job and it does it fairly well, without much fuss. I also like this design because its elongated Y shape allows it to connect to a PC, even if the USB ports are vertical (imagine if the different “tongs” went out to the side, it just wouldn’t fit if there is anything else in the surrounding USB spots).Finally, another major reason why I bought this device was the USB C prong. This helps future-proof it and allows the transfer of documents/data from a large assortment of current Apple, Android, and PC devices as well as those that will be made in the future. Starting with the iPhone 15, those will all use USB C. So if you are looking for a transfer device in the year 2023, this will cover whatever phone you have in your hand right now AND presumably any made for the next few years as well.I score this a 9 out of 10, and we’ll round up to 5 stars.

Works pretty good, but it’s a little awkward when it’s inserted in the bottom of the phone and you wanna be careful that you don’t stress your charge port.

Great option for transfer
I bought this to transfer and store photos because my phone has too many photos and videos. I almost bought an extremely expense one but opted for this because of the reasonable price point. This photo stick is easy to use and very quick and convenient to store photos. There is adequate space and easy to transfer around from home to office. It is easily compatible with my android (google plus) phone and connects easily. This was a GREAT purchase.

Finde super dass man damit auch große Dateien über verschiedene Geräte und Plattformen hinweg transferieren kann und das ohne besondere App. Eine Möglichkeit, den Stick irgendwo dranzuhängen gibt es nicht, ich habe mir da mit einem in der Mitte drangeknoteten Gummi geholfen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut!

Very handy, it’s plug-and-use directly so no need to install enternal apps. I haven’t test on my pc and type-c ports so cannot comment fully yet. For being this user-friendly on iPhone/iPad I could already give out 5 stars. Hope it won’t disappoint me.
