Very cool floating globe for a great price
I was a little concerned after reading some of the negative reviews saying that the globe did not float, etc., however, that has not been the case for me. I actually found it very easy to float starting with the very first attempt. I used the spacing tool provided the first time but found I didn’t even need it after that. If you want the globe to spin, you do have to spin it manually, but it keeps going for quite a while once it is spinning. You have to spin it gently because if you disturb the globe too much, it will stick to the top of the frame and stop floating. The same thing can happen if you jar the unit too much while the globe is floating. I will update this post if anything changes, but based on what I’ve seen so far, this is a great item.

I don’t normally write reviews but there are so many contradictory reviews on this one I almost didn’t buy it. I am glad I listened to the good reviews. I really like the look of it and I do not find the lights to be too bright. The globe does float and spin if you give it a nudge but it does not spin on its own. I can be challenging to get it to float by placing it yourself but it is a piece of cake if you use the the tool they give you. I would definitely recommend this if you want something different than the standard globe on a base.

For the price, it’s easy to look over some of the minute cons that keep this product from being a perfect 10/10. There are, however, a few minor details I would have liked to have seen to make this even better.1. Ability to turn LEDs off/on2. Longer cord to plug in3. Self spinning (maybe a small jet of air from the stand? Just ideas)4. Turn off specific LEDs instead of all 3 colors constantly on5. Rubber feet on the base to keep from potential slidingThose small things are the only improvements I can think of for this. And for the price, it’s easy to look past them. It’s a great purchase, would buy again.

Really cool and has that “WOW” factor
I bought this as a gift to my PI. He really liked it, and it decorates his office very well. Need some finesse in putting the ball and making it levitate, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. It has been about a year since purchase and its still functioning well.

The Good:• Great conversation piece for desk• You can spin the globe and it just keeps going• Colorful LED’s around the Arch add to the look• Has that “wow” factorOther Thoughts:• I read a lot of the reviews about durability but I haven’t experienced any issues yet.
