Works Well, But Watch Your Network Settings!
I was initially skeptical about this bulb, but it works. My only complaint is that if there is a power outage while the bulb is off, it does not remain off when the power returns. I experienced this when I was away for weeks on separate occasions and returned to find the light on.When I moved to a new apartment, I set up my Alexa without issues. The bulb initially connected but later showed as unresponsive in the app. I tried everything—moving it closer to the router, multiple resets—but nothing worked. I was about to toss it when I decided to check the reviews and discovered that the issue wasn’t with the bulb but with my network settings.For this bulb to connect via Alexa, it must be on the same network as Alexa and use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection (not 5 GHz). Additionally, some routers have a feature that places wireless devices on a separate virtual network, which prevents proper communication. After disabling this feature, the bulb connected without any issues.In the end, the problem was not the bulb but my network configuration. I will be purchasing a few more.

These work great…when they work
These generally work and look great. However, it doesn’t take much for them to lose connection (often during a brief power blip, for instance), and from then on, they’re incredibly glitchy unless you delete them and freshly install them. If you have a smart home where a bulb might be part of a number of routines, you’ll see the problem: you’ll have to delete the old bulb, add the new one, and then update every routine that had the bulb. It’s just not worth it. I’d recommend Cync or Phillips instead; I’ve had better luck with both!
