Great sound doesn’t have to cost a fortune. These comfortable, lightweight, supra-aural headphones provide dynamic audio with crisp bass and good external noise attenuation without breaking the bank.
Closed back design provides passive noise isolation and prevents sound from bleeding into adjacent microphones when home recording. Connectivity Technology: Wired
Lightweight and comfortable designed ideal for long listening, studio or DJ sessions
24 ohm impedance provides compatibility with cell phones, tablets, computers, portable audio players and studio recorders
1/8 inch plug (3.5 millimeter) with 1/4 inch (6.3 millimeter)) adapter included

Customers say

Customers find these headphones comfortable with a good listening experience, and they work well with mp3 players. The sound quality receives mixed feedback – while some praise the noise isolation, others note the sound is noticeably muddled. The build quality is mixed, with some describing them as good quality while others find them flimsy, and the cord length is appreciated by some but considered unnecessarily long by others. The fit is also mixed, with some finding them decent while others note the cups are too big, and the plastic construction receives criticism for being thin and cheap-feeling.

Great deal for real Sennheiser sound.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear decent sound quality for a product that has been discontinued by Sennheiser. It’s nice to have a nice lightweight headset without the pain in the rear coily cord that comes with the Sennheiser HD 280 pro headphones. The sound quality is very good especially considering the fact that these are made with thin wires. I have purchased Pro Audio headphones for 4x the cost as these that had extremely poor sound quality compared to these. I use them for mixing my sound on my MPC one, and really, they are much more comfortable than my HD280 pro model, and like I stated before, with a nice long cord that isnt coiled to get tangled up in everything. I actually prefer these to my HD280 pro model due to the good sound, comfort, and longer cable. It’s too bad Sennheiser discontinued these, but maybe they’ll come out with a pair with a more sturdy cord. That is the only downside is the thin cord. I see future problems with the durability of the cord on these, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Sennheiser has always made quality products. These are not noise cancelling, but they are stil good enough to use for professional mixdowns on my MPC One.

Exceeds expectations after reading reviews I had a 50/50 expectation of these Headphones
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound from these headphones. Reviews had me leery of bass from them but not only is it there it’s accurate, they are not Thumpers like the dude down the block who rattles your windows when he drives by( I hate Thumpers). The highs are the same, accurate and none of the Ssssibalance you usually get from modestly priced Headphones and the Vocal/Mids are just in your face, clear and hot. I should mention I use a tube headphone pre-amp for Headphones and don’t need to go over half Volume to get what I want. If you’re on the fence about the SENNHEISER HD 206 don’t be for the price your getting a good product with a Soundscape that rivals much higher priced Headphones, Just sayin.

    Cheap, Comfortable, Sound great.
Oh boy are these cheap, and that is not a bad thing.I’ve been using these a couple of weeks now and it’s incredible. Now I’m sure what I’m getting out of this is what people call the “v sound” with boosted top and bottom end, but it’s some of the most incredible sound I’ve gotten from a pair of headphones. I’m not an audiophile. As long as what I’m using isn’t bluetooth I’m generally fine, but I’m still going to love a real good sound.I’ve had headphones more expensive than these that both fit and sounded worse than these. The main things I’m worried about are the wire and how strong the headphones themselves are. I’ll have to be careful with the wire for sure, but these aren’t going anywhere that anything could possible snap them.Noise cancelling? Nah man. They don’t let everything in by any means, they’re not open back. It’s not letting everything in and it’s not letting everything out. But I hear more things through these than I have in like the last 5 pairs of headphones I’ve owned. This isn’t a bad thing. I would often be hard to get the attention of because of it. I can hear what’s going on around me but it’s not going to ruin my experience with anything. You can do a lot worse than these for 30 bucks. You can do worse than these for 100 bucks. These are cheap headphones that don’t sound like garbage and fit *comfortably* for cheap. Yeah I can safely recommend these.

    Great budget headphones
These are comfortable and the sound quality is great. Cord is long which is both a blessing and a curse. I no longer feel tethered 3 feet from my laptop, but it’s so long I keep most of it wrapped up so it won’t catch on anything. Foam earpieces can make your ears feel hot, but you can buy covers to stop this. These are not noise cancelling so you’ll get bleed through room ambience. Otherwise about the best you can get for the money.

Great pair of headphones for beginners
When I needed a pair of headphones for my home studio, I had three things in mind: sound quality, noise proofing, and cost. The Sennheiser’s were a good pick. I knew the brand from their microphone line, so I thought of trying their headphone line. Man, it’s been awesome for my use. It’s not top of the line, but it works. If you’re just starting out, I would highly recommend you buy these to get started with your home studio.

Headphones exceed pricepoint. Got it while it was on sale, and its great for listening to music, watching videos, etc. The wire is really long, though that can get in the way, it won’t pull on you if you have to get up briefly. I can wear them for long hours, and I wear glasses which is great as well. The headphones fit comfortably over my ears and don’t clamp down on my head. Sound depth is lacking however, so don’t expect great bass or trebles.
