This outdoor security camera only supports connecting to 2.4Ghz Wifi, not 5Ghz Wifi.
Why there is no setting after inserting a SD card?
This is because the SD card is not recognized by the camera. You can use your computer to format the card into FAT 32 format, or try a new card.
How long can I use it on a single charge?
1-4months. The battery life depends on the times of the camera wakes up. If you use solar panel to charge battery camera, then it will save you hassle of taking it down and plug it into recharge.
Does Septekon wireless outdoor camera support RTSP/ONVIF/NVR/FTP?
Not support RTSP/ONVIF/NVR/FTP, only support SD card and cloud storage.

Waited after the warranty to give a full review.Cameras were easy to set up and use. However, after a month, one of the cameras just stopped charging and would shut off on its own – Completely in range of wifi, connected to solar charger 24/7. Asked the company via email about the issues – no follow up to this date. Only a response from Amazon that it’s no longer under warranty. Be mindful when purchasing if you need all 4.Besides that, the functionality of the others are great, camera quality is great day and night time.Edit- 4Oct -Septekon reached out via email and happily sent me a replacement camera, 1 yearly warranty and Amazon $5 gift card. Camera arrived in 2 days and is working prefect! Thanks a lot for resolving. Again, out of this problem, the cameras work excellent. Great camera quality, playback and motion detection.

Camera viewing doesn’t work
I was really hopeful that these camera would work for me but I’ve been disappointed so far. I brought these cameras to watch my ducks when I am at work due to a lot of predators around my area. But I am only able to watch it for 20 seconds without any issues, after that 20 seconds it will start saying I need to reconnect it but than disconnect completely and I won’t be able to get the camera back up til 20 minutes later. I wish it would have said that you had to be on the same Wi-Fi to be able to view the camera because I would’ve found another option. But I am trying to find solutions to everything so I don’t have to go through the troubles of returning them or throwing them out. I just brought some SIM cards for it so hopefully it will end up working a little better. I don’t know if it’s a user error but I am quite dissatisfied in these cameras.

Connectivity
Unable to connect to 5G net work, I called customer service we trouble shoot and all, still unable to connect. I had purchased another set over a year now but they are not solar generated , those are working well, so I think I will keep ordering the first set I had.

goodUsing SD card, altered the settings to 60s recording as default was only 10s but camera still only recording for 10s with a gap of 10-30s between recordingsI put the solar panel directly over the camera to help keep the rain off it
