In a world without words, what hope is there for humanity? Once upon a time, the King of a peaceful land committed an unthinkable transgression when he stole his people’s speech. After this betrayal, he leaped into a yawning chasm known as The Abyss never to be seen again. The Princess mourned the loss of her father and cried ceaselessly until her tears entombed her in a crystal teardrop. Many years after these events faded to memory, seven rainbow-colored lights flew from The Abyss. These rays of hope manifested before seven unlikely citizens, who suddenly found themselves drawn to the crystalline Princess. Now it is up to these newfound heroes to brave the depths of The Abyss and find the secluded King to free the Princess from her luminous prison. Explore, fight, and produce items to grow stronger as seven distinct heroes in the tragic world of Silent Hope. This isometric dungeon-crawler harkens back to the glory days of action RPGs but with a modern flair. Guided by The Princess, you’ll delve into The Abyss and learn the mysteries of this now-ruined kingdom. Travel between The Abyss and Base Camp as your heroes grow stronger. Comb the dangerous floors below to collect treasures and materials, then return to your sanctuary to create new items to aid in your quest. Equip yourself with gear you’ve made to take down the throngs of fearsome foes that await you in the treacherous void. What hope is there in a world without words? You.

    Beautiful Day One Edition
The demo to this game was phenomenal. The gameplay is super fun, and the home base mechanics are cute and entertaining. The game runs well on switch, and if you’re a fan of action RPGs this one is a no-brainer.The biggest highlight here is the Day One Edition. The box is a super high quality cardboard, feels sturdy, and definitely looks great. The edition comes with a beautiful art book, a PHYSICAL soundtrack (I love a good physical soundtrack), and the base game (which also comes with an instruction manual (be still my beating heart)).I cannot recommend this one enough. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Must have for fans and collectors.

Cute, addicting Diablo II-eques dungeon crawler
I had been waiting for this game since I first saw it at the Marvelous booth at PAX.It looked interesting and there was something nostalgic about it.It uses graphics based off the Rune Factory franchise, a plus in my bookIt’s a fun game that is easy to pick up and is not punishing to play, not to say it’s it’s unchallenging. The levels do get repetitive and the crafting system is quite shallow, imho. It’s still a good game and it’s nice having 7 playable characters with multiple skill trees. However several class are not as fun or effective to play, but ymmv based on playstyle. If you are craving a procedural dungeon crawler with a random loot system this is a great pick.

    Charming Dungeon Crawler with Depth
Gameplay and Features:Silent Hope is an action RPG that combines classic isometric dungeon crawling with modern mechanics. Players can choose from seven unique heroes, each with distinct fighting styles, such as the well-rounded Wanderer, long-range Archer, or heavy-hitting Warrior. This variety encourages experimentation and caters to different playstyles. The game features procedurally generated dungeons within the Abyss, ensuring that each expedition offers a fresh experience. As players delve deeper, they encounter increasingly challenging enemies and uncover the game’s narrative, which is narrated by the Princess, adding a fairy tale-like quality to the storytelling.Between dungeon runs, players return to the Base Camp, where each hero assumes a unique role, such as alchemist, blacksmith, or cook. This system adds layers of depth to character progression and resource management, enhancing the overall gameplay loop.Pros: • Diverse Character Selection: Seven heroes with unique fighting styles provide varied combat experiences and replayability. • Engaging Dungeon Exploration: Procedurally generated dungeons keep exploration fresh and challenging. • Charming Aesthetic: The storybook art style and narration create an enchanting atmosphere. • Base Camp Mechanics: Assigning roles to heroes adds depth to progression and resource management.Cons: • Repetitive Gameplay Loop: Some players may find the dungeon-crawling and resource gathering becomes monotonous over time. • Limited Character Development: While each hero has a unique fighting style, their personalities and backstories are minimally explored. • Inventory Management: Managing items and resources can become cumbersome, potentially disrupting the gameplay flow. Conclusion:Silent Hope: Day One Edition offers a charming and engaging dungeon-crawling experience with its diverse character selection, procedurally generated dungeons, and enchanting art style. However, potential buyers should be aware of the repetitive gameplay loop and limited character development. Overall, it’s a delightful addition to the action RPG genre, particularly for those who appreciate a fairy tale aesthetic and varied combat mechanics.

    fun dungeon crawler
Silent hope is a fun dungeon crawler similar to a diablo game, that is easy to pick up and play and has a decent amount of challenge.

Game is amazing, don’t buy from Amazon if you want a ‘collector’ piece
Let me start off with the good stuff. The game is really cute, graphics have that semi chibi look, bright colors, cute monsters, the whole bit. The controls are easy to get a handle on, and there is some depth to the game play. The only negatives so far, there is some frame rate lose and input lag in spots, but I am sure a patch will fix this. The only major negative, is more if you plan to collect the day one style game. Get it from somewhere other then Amazon. They will throw your game into an envelope and ship it off, so all that throwing around and slamming down, the box will come to you bashed up terribly. As of right now, it only crinkled the art book, and the box looks like it was a kick ball, the game itself wasn’t damaged.

If you like grinding levels and equipment in a simple rpg without too much story then you should like this. The game doesn’t really get grindy until the post game, I played the story with almost no grinding

This game definitely scratches the itch of old school MapleStory. It’s kind of a mindless grind and upgraded character sort of game.I really enjoy it but the levelling steep is quite high. You start off levelling up fairly quickly and then around 30. It starts to get really slow and you have to work really hard to get to a higher level.
