SmallRig, Big functionality.
Fantastic rig. It feels sturdy, it accomplishes everything it says. The one issue I have was the media adaptor does not have enough ports. I purchased the SmallRig 4-in-1 media adapter and that works great.

One of the best tools for content creation
I am a business owner and content creator that was looking for a product that offers good lighting and voice pick up when recording videos. I always had a hard time finding the right holder that would take stable picture and videos.This smallrig is a game changer. You are able to use Apple and Android phones and even other brands. It makes it easier to set up your phone because of the attachable stand. It also has a detachable light that you can brighten and make it white light or yellow light. They also have a mic that its very good quality and it even comes with a wind guard when recording outside.This product has amazing stabilization because it comes with the arms that you place on each side. You can choose to use one or two arms. This is a game changer because it makes it possible to take professional level video and pictures that make it more eye catching for your post.I highly recommend that everyone look into getting this product because it will make you product and content levels above the competition.

Sturdy & holds phone very well
Overall the rig is great. Very sturdy and holds a big phone. I have the ultra 24. I upgraded to the larger S20 microphone for ASMR videos and wow. What an amazing sound. So crisp It picks up everything. Great customer service!!!

Negative: iPhone lightning adapter does not work. Positive: Allen wrenches are in the grips. Yay!
This is a solid cage for your phone and I like the design overall. However, here a few things you should know:1. The included lightning to 3.5mm adapter did not work. I tried various troubleshooting solutions- swapping out the cable, making sure the additional lighting charger port was plugged into power, etc. etc.. nothing worked. Then, based on some YouTube research, I tried an Apple-branded lightning to 3.5mm adapter that I already had and, voila. It works. So the included dongle isn’t mifi certified and is essentially junk. More plastic for the ocean. Here’s the dongle I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXJFMGF/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=12. Several of the negative comments here mention that the included Allen wrenches are too small. NOT TRUE. The larger wrenches you need are stored INSIDE THE HANDLE GRIPS at the bottom and secured with magnets. This is a brilliant design from Smallrig. Quite the opposite of a negative feature.

Great Invention!!!
I am a news journalist for an online site and was looking for something that was lighter to carry than my HUGE shoulder cam and tremendously heavy tripod. Once I upgraded my iPhone to the 13 Pro Max and discovered that it took wayyyyy better pics and video than my older shoulder cam, I needed something light, steady and portable to use with my iPhone. This rig solved everything. I’m out the door with only one thing in my hand, strap it into my SUV with a seatbelt and off I go. The set-up on site is as easy as just finding a spot to place my tripod (among the many other stations there with their bulky, heavy, outdated equipment). I also purchased an external battery pack in case I run out of charge on the iPhone (which attaches to the back of the rig), along with a set of wireless lavalier mics which pair perfectly with the audio cord and adapter included in the rig package. I attached the lavalier receiver to the extra mounting shoe that comes with this package that I installed on one of the hand grips. I’m now more mobile, streamlined and have the most up-to-date equipment. I highly recommend this rig set-up.

This is such a great little tool for improving smartphone video. Smaller/easier than a gimbal but provides enough additional stability and extra mounting points for the light/mic/etc. that it’s a great value.

Cage is extremely sturdy and well constructed, all accessories clearly marked. Needs 2 sizes of Allen key to attach but only came with one size, too small for some of the screws but not a problem as the missing size was a standard size and easily substituted so nonissue. Microphone and light are above average and great value for price. Base is also extremely sturdy and much better than expected for the cost. No issue with mic recognition connection on iPhone 13pro.
