Amazing watch. Does much more than I thought.
This watch is so much better than I thought it would be. I was skeptical because of the price. This watch is amazing. It is easy to use and set up with an iPhone. A great value for the money. It does everything that my Apple Watch did except for I’m not able to text from it. But that really doesn’t matter. It even has an oxygen sensor. And track my sleep. It is very functional. The fit is great. The band is adjustable for a skinny arm and a really large arm.

No Emojis
The watch is mediocre, at best.I’m not sure why people are comparing it to an Apple Watch because it doesn’t come close.You are able to make calls and receive calls from the watch. You are able to view the message but you’re not able to reply. You need to use your phone for that.When receiving text messages, emojis don’t show up. It shows up as an empty box. See picture for example. I just can’t get over that.Also, your messages aren’t there after you view them so you aren’t able to go back and check it.For the discounted price, it does the job of telling time and calling. I never tried using it for exercise.

A real bargain
It’s a bit soon to review this thing, as I’ve only had it for a day, but I have to say it impresses out of the box. The price point makes me think it will last all of three months, in which case I’ll revise the review. For now: Wow. With very little trouble, the thing is synced to my pixel, delivering (most) messages, and even able to take and make phone calls. The form factor is standard smartwach, but The battery seems robust, and there are myriad watch faces to choose from. Why pay $500 for something when you can get practically the same thing for under $30?Some nits: Not all text messages come through, and I have yet to discern why some do and some don’t. It seems somewhat random. Also, the font used for text messages is laughably poor — like, I kid you not, it’s some sort of obscure and fuzzy dot-matrix font, which is inexplicable given that the fonts used everythwere else on the the native OS are perfectly legible sans-serif. WTF? You also don’t appear to have any way to respond to a text message from your watch — not even the ability to choose from a list of canned responses like “okay” or “will call you shortly.” Also, you can dial out from your watch, but if the call requires additional keypad presses (say, if you’re checking your voicemail and need to enter a PIN, or going through a menu of options with a call center, forget it. Once the call is connected, you can’t bring up the keypad again. Pretty dumb, but hopefully it will improve with firmware updates.These nits aside, I can’t see how anyone would complain about a $30 watch that does all the things it does competently. I just hope it lasts!

Scam – Fraudulent App Confirmed with Bank
The app requires you to enter your banking info. They automatically charge prepaid cards $34.90 and will auto charge your bank in 2 days. It will not allow you to cancel in that time to ensure they get the $34.90. My bank said they have gotten many calls about this charge.

This will probably get buried. The app is SO BAD. It’s hard to connect to and use in general. The step counter is no good as it just tracks my arm movements so even if I’m at my desk, it records that.I guess you get what you pay for? I wouldn’t recommend.

Great value, use as phone, text and heart monitor
I didn’t have any expectations but it’s surprisingly works well. It receives text, phone calls, calls out, and monitor a heart rate and even gives low heart rate warnings. I haven’t tried other features but that’s pretty much all I use even with my Apple Watch. If you are same as me, this will work just fine and save $! This battery lasts longer than my one year old Apple Watch.

Outdated instructions.
I spent several hours meticulously following the printed Instructions (P99 v 1.0) and FAQs (no online instructions are linked – a serious deficiency) that came with my 2025 Motast SmartWatch. Using their GloryFit app, I could not succeed at (1) finding where to enter the name of the device (P99) into Bluetooth, (2) finding pairing, or (3) getting the watch to show the correct time. Based on differences between the print version and what is actually on the GloryFit screen, it is apparent that the printed instructions that came with the watch are outdated. Amazon advertises it as a 2025 version, but the Motast store currently only shows 2022 and 2023 versions, although unavailable. I am returning it and getting another brand.

Handsfree calling from watch is best feature.
Not an Apple watch but can’t beat the price. The app is so-so and dependent on the screen size of your phone (mine is smaller) the print may be condensed and overlap a bit but not a deal breaker. The most useful features to me are the step counter, vibrating text alert (won’t display all of a long text on the screen) and the ability to make/take calls directly from the watch. If I’m driving a vehicle my phone is not connected to by Bluetooth, all I have to is tap the watch face when a call comes in and I can converse through the watch mic/speaker without having to take my hands off the wheel. The alarm clock function will definitely get your attention (or wake you up) as it is LOUD. The instruction manual print is tiny…very tiny. So have reading glasses or an electron microscope handy to read them (part of the reason I didn’t give a 5-star rating). Again, not an Apple watch clone but at over 85% less in cost I can overlook shortcomings and recommend the product.
