noise canceling stunning
pushing the bounds of technology slight noise bleed but still stunningbought two returned one, it was picking up audio from my security cam,the one that i am keeping is better than QuietComfort, better ANC. better algos maybe? super digitizedthis is the only headphone i would recommmend and I’ve had a few in my life including ear buds Welcome to the space age or AI, if the Jetsons had a head phone this would be it. only con build quality is delicate but what do you expect for $115 after 10% backi was wrong there is no noise that was the actual audio from the security cam i mistook for noise bleed because my cam’s audio has a horrible lag and is bearly intellligible and i thought the volume was off, stupid mistake.by the way another thing i like, the pads are noticeably big in both diameter and thickness, comfortable for the ears but they do remind me of firing range ear muffs on an air craft carriernot just good for pop music its great for piano solo’s like beethoven’s 5th its just wowthis headphone can supposedly calibrate the ambient sound it picks up, a loud bang will not be amplified. this is an AI application that could be further developed in so many waysAI glitz, sometimes you can’t tell if its on or not after you put it down, Sony’s feverishly updating like everybody else, you think? If they could combine this with Rayban-Meta, get rid of the glasses put the camera right on the headphone or Apple Vision pro, instead of plugging into a battery you could plug into these, it would be like an iphone you wear on your head or neckNoise cancelling together with ambient sound you can attempt to control the noise or the sound that reaches your ears

Amazing bass and sound quality, very comfortable too
I often have problems with headphones being comfy for my ears/head, but these feel perfect. The bass settings are amazing and customizable, along with an app for eq. Charges very quickly and lasts long, worth every cent

A definite upgrade in sound and bass
Great value with the Spring sale! Charging is fast, touch sensor works well, including the covering with your hand for immediate ambient noise and conversations. Bluetooth connects easily. Very comfortable. A noticeable sound and bass upgrade from some on ear basic JBL‘s I have that I will still keep for my iPad. But these will be my go to for the gym, etc. Hard to believe the difference, more noticeable than I expected! Because I did like my other JBL‘s. But I wanted it over ear. The app allows you to tune the equalizer to your liking. And now I can tap and ask Siri to play YouTube Music workout super mix…one touch with iPhone locked in my pocket.

Not XM5s but not supposed to be; good strong bass
Update 1: After 1 solid week of listening I love them headphones. For the price the performance is amazing. I have tuned ULT1 with clear bass @5 and EQ tuned on the treble and it’s super clear and tight bass heaven. I don’t understand why Sony couldn’t put the same driver in the XM5. Maybe the XM6 will have these or similar. This driver can handle tremendous pressure which amazes me every time I listen. Microphone needs work, maybe a firmware update will help but probably this is best we will get. NC has been amazing and Transparency is solid. Tried out LDAC on my Nothing Phone2 and sounds tremendous. Overall I am keeping them, hoping they hold up!! Also… insanely lightweight. Not much to these – just a killer driver tuned with the app and your set. All you need!Finally someone made some bass forward cans for us bass lovers. If you want high end fidelity and super wide sound stages, look elsewhere (and pay 2x). I have some Bose Ultras and while they are good sounding headphones with bass forward tuning they’re still lacking the depth. These ULTs have the depth but not the sound stage as the ultras. The build quality is mediocre at best and could probably be sold half the cost and I expect tons of sales on these.The sound quality is good. It’s fun. It’s better than Beats and the Bose Ultras. Definitely more bass than APM but not the same sonic fidelity. Needs more listening time but my first impression is tight, controlled strong bass. ULT 1 vs ULT 2 is actually clear bass at 0 or 10 (odd) but does some additional magic behind the scenes. Sony put a bigger driver in these then XM5. I can’t get the XM5 to sound like these so that 40mm driver works and handles the bass well. I wouldn’t listen to level 2 much but level 1 tuned with the EQ actually produces awesome sound, again with a narrow stage.I haven’t test calls or conferences or outdoors yet. Overall initial first listening is these are not overall better then XM5 (they shouldn’t) but do sound great and the XM5 I felt had poor drivers for all the amazing tech in them. The V1 handles the processing well with no distortion.Will update review once I listen and test some more. Biggest thing here is ULT and bigger (arguably better) drivers. Sony did good.

Best headphones I’ve ever tried
These headphones have it all! They are extremely comfortable, great for lounging or for being out and about. The battery lasts around 30 hours for me since I use the noise cancelling feature, and one charge is good enough for a few days of use. They also are able to be charged using any USB-C charger, which is very convenient. They have a sleek finish but are a little bulkier than many headphones— this doesn’t bother me personally but is worth noting. Pairing is done with the Sony Headphones app and was extremely easy to set up. You should have this app on any device you wish to use these headphones with. The Bluetooth reaches a pretty fair distance. The touchpad on the right side of the headphones is extremely easy to use and the controls are easy to pick up on for anyone. I specifically love the feature where you can cover the touchpad to hear ambient noise or if someone is speaking to you. Really great set of headphones overall, absolutely worth the price if you’re feeling unsure!

Overall quality of the product is good and worth the money. When it comes to the sound quality that’s beyond my expectation. I’m completely satisfied with the sound quality and bass. Though this product is specially for bass lovers you can adjust bass level and also use Equalizer for music control in the sound connect app by sony. So, this product is not only for bass lovers and also for a music lovers. Battery life is too good. I use it for 4-5 hours a day but I charge this product every 10 days so battery backup is good. Comfort is too good. I’m using this product for past 15 days and there is no discomfort or any pain in my ears. Only problem is sometimes I noted is as it covers your ear so you might get sweat in ears. If you use it in AC room no chance for sweat. So this is what I experienced using this product. Hope this experience might help others to take decision.

These headphones are just bang for the bucks!! Im a basic audio enthusiast and an avid music lover.. My personal taste of audio is a mixed one.. I waited so long and after many years Sony ultimately launched this ULT headphone that perfectly fits my taste of music.. I usually prefer only headphones for listening music and watching movies as they completely cover up your ears and drives powerful audio straight to your sealed ears.. That is a different experience than the in ear or TWS ones.. And I definitely need BASS without any compromise on mid section, the highs, sound to be rich, clean with decent stereo staging.. This one satisfies all that.. I do use EQ to tweak settings for my taste and once setup, hell yeah it is just out of the world!! I dont understand why many reviews downplay music quality like mids, highs, crispness, stereo staging etc but this one does all that with that massive bass too!! Either there are headphones with rich audio clarity but lacks on bass or there are the other bassy ones that makes other aspects sound trash.. But this one for me is an all rounder.. Music which has only rich vocals, string sections without much bass lines too sound soo good same as music with immersive bass.. By bass I dont mean just the upper bass which gives you headache but the really low end rumbles extending deeper to sub 20Hz or even less which you can actually feel.. I feel like Im in an IMAX theatre or somewhere straight into the studios after I put this up.. Even for ppl who dont like bass there is an option to completely switch it off.. For me it works wonders with the first ULT mode.. That is damn impressive.. Everyone whom I asked to listen this was just blown away.. I really love it..I have tried many brands like Sennheiser Momentum plus (diaphragm distortion) even at moderate volume so returned back, then JBL not satisfied with audio quality though had bass, then some new companies like SonicLamb which fakes the bass (No bass less than 40Hz or so but will fake with some artificial vibrations) which I threw to trash.. Finally this is the real and clean one for my budget..I don’t even look into Noise cancelling as I mostly listen music only indoors but this actually does a pretty good job and silences the outer noise by almost half.. Most of the times I don’t even need it indoors..Likewise i rarely make calls with this but that is pretty good as well..Bluetooth connection and latency is fine for me as I’m not gamer.. Connection is very stable and it can connect two devices at once..Battery is also pretty good so as the charging time..If I have to speak about some cons, the headphone always runs with noise cancelling mode on by default even if you toggle it through headphone control.. Ambient noise mode off does not actually turn off, but the mics work even harder to amplify external noises so that you can hear everything around.. Everytime you have to get the app running and set like while detecting as ‘Staying’ then completely turn off noise cancelling feature.. As a person who is not interested much on this aspect I don’t have to put this extra load to the headphone and I have to switch it off manually through the app everytime..And I also prefer the headphones to be more louder.. Some movies or videos have very low volume and even at highest volume it’s not loud enough..But these are manageable and overall I think Sony really nailed with this headphone..!!

La relación calidad/precio de los audÃfonos es muy buena, el sonido para los amantes del bass la verdad si es muy bueno, los puedes ecualizar en la aplicación y el modo ULT1 para mà es el mejor. Vienen con su estuche rÃgido y la calidad en general de los plásticos es promedio pero el sonido y las funcionalidades touch y de cancelación de ruido son excelentes. Si te gusta el bajo y no te importa que sean un poco grandes (no cansan, son cómodos) son una excelente opción en calidad/precio.
