Customers say

Customers find these wireless headphones to be decent in sound quality and noise cancellation, with good battery life that lasts for hours. They are comfortable with the hook over the ear design, stay securely in place, and offer good value for money. The fit receives mixed feedback – while they accommodate all ear sizes, some customers report they run small on the large ones. Functionality also gets mixed reviews, with some saying they work well while others report issues with individual earbuds failing.

Excellent – best if you also use their app!!
This is my third pair of soundcore/anker headphones: Life Q35 for airplanes/trains/anytime I need real over-the-ear headphones; P40i for my day to day use at my desk and I WAS using them for working out, but they do fall out with movement; so I bought these Sport X10s. Needless to say, I LOVE this brand. Everyone complaining that they aren’t loud enough needs to get their hearing checked: they are so loud that I usually only listen to them at about 30-40% volume – if that. And even then, they are loud. The sound is balanced, but if you want to change the balance, you can set a custom balance in the soundcore app, which is excellent. I have customized all three headsets in there. I think the people complaining about volume and balance (especially bass) don’t know how to use the app. (The app also includes ambient noise and breathing exercises – enough that I might cancel my Calm app.)My only complaint is that these don’t do wireless charging. My P40is do, so I assumed these would. In hindsight, it clearly says in the Amazon description that they do not. That seems like an oversight by anker. They stay in my ear amazingly, but are so compact. It’s the beat of both worlds. These will live in my gym bag and the other headphones I have will resume their place in my regular purse for daily use.

5 stars because of overall value as wireless sports earbuds
I tried a couple of other (more expensive and more highly featured) ear buds, neither of which worked for my primary purpose: Wearing at the gym and while running. These Anker earbuds delivered! Had they been $150-$200 earbuds, I would rate them 4 stars. But at $75 regular pricing (and in fact got mine for $59 on sale), they are a FANTASTIC value and deserve 5 stars.I’ll leave the details for other reviews, which are more in-depth. The bottom line for me is:The over-the-ear hooks are extremely comfortable and have an innovative design (they rotate one direction for storage in the case and rotate the other way for securing the buds while in use). The overall fit is quite good. Even if they loosen a bit with most strenuous exertion, you can feel confident that they won’t come out.Sound quality is very good – better than I expected. A solid B+ and notable for this price point. Pretty good bass. The equalizer function on the app has a bunch of pre-sets plus allows you to customize. The Soundcore app complements these buds. I highly recommend you download it because one of the first things will be a firmware update that takes a few minutes. Thereafter, you can control features and see charge levels.Battery life has been good. I’ve been getting a solid 7 hours on one charge, maybe a little more. The case has good capacity. If you fully charge the case, you’ll have at least 30 hours of power in total.Water resistance level is high on these relative to most ear buds, at IPX7. You can wear these in the rain and in theory, even submerge them in water. I wouldn’t try it but I feel that these will definitely handle sweat and splashes. The only downsides of these buds are: I prefer to use the controls on the app, rather than the little buttons on the top of the earbuds, because there is no voice feedback. I like other earbuds that confirm when you have made a change, for example, “Noise reduction on” or “Talk through mode enabled.” These don’t do that. Also, as to noise reduction, it’s not as good as a couple of other earbuds I’ve tried, such as Bose and JBL. I would describe the noise cancellation as moderate. All things considered, if you are specifically looking for a sports earbud that will stay put and can handle the elements, these should be considered. I’ve always liked Anker products – their battery chargers, adapters, wireless keyboards, and other peripherals are consistently great. Well, they did an excellent job with these earbuds. While not a “top tier” set of Bluetooth earbuds, they provide a great value for the price.

Good earbuds, don’t like how the case doesn’t close very well
I’ve had these earbuds for about a year now and I’ve really enjoyed most of my experience with them.Pros:I specifically got these for their waterproof rating because I wanted to listen to music while showering and not disturb my roommates by using a speaker. I shower with these in fairly often, and the waterproofing has held up well during that time. Even when I accidentally broke one of the buttons off (definitely not a defect, I got my nail hooked underneath it and pulled too hard haha) the waterproofing has held up great and I’ve had no issues with continuing to shower with them in.The audio quality is also really good compared to a lot of other earbuds I’ve had, both wired and wireless. The bass is nothing to sneeze at, but music, podcasts, and shows all come through loud and clear. I can hear a lot of nuances to songs and soundtracks that I can barely hear with other earbuds, which has been a really cool thing to have with these earbuds.I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these earbuds are. The hooks are very gentle over my ears, and I’m able to leave them in for hours on end (which has not been the norm with other earbuds, they start to hurt my ears after 2 or three hours. On slow weekends at home, I’ve left them in almost all day and had little discomfort). In addition to the good quality, they look pretty sleek too! I find the finish on the earbuds to be a nice touch, and the hooks aren’t intrusive. They’re pretty low key which I appreciate, as I don’t often like the presence that over-ear or on-ear headphones come with.Cons:Most of these cons are relatively minor things, but also things which some people might take a bigger issue with. The noise cancelling isn’t great. I can still hear most things going on around me when I wear them normally, and with the noise cancelling on it only blocks out some of the deeper sounds. Normally I’d be fine with this, but any sort of tapping or short noises seem to sound louder with the noise cancelling on, so I typically just leave it off.Button controls have been frustrating for me as well. Each earbud has one button on the side, with one side raising volume and the other lowering it. Otherwise, only one side can pause when using both earbuds and the other skips ahead once. If I click too slowly to skip, I end up decreasing my volume by a moderate amount, or if I skip too far ahead I have to dig my phone out to navigate backwards. Once again, nothing that breaks the experience, but slightly annoying and I feel like the button controls could have been more intuitive. My biggest issue is the magnet holding the lid in place. If the case falls for any reason, the earbuds go flying. Because there is nothing securing the lid other than a magnet, it’s been immensely frustrating to me when I’ve lost one—if not both—of these earbuds several times because of this weak magnet, not to mention the times I had to clean them because they fell into a patch of dirt outside.Connectivity is my only other minor complaint. When I connect to one of my various devices, the sound cuts out for a moment whenever I start any audio, even if it’s been several minutes. My Duolingo practice is the biggest proponent of this, where sometimes I will only hear the last half of a listening exercise at first, and several times in a row at that. Otherwise it isn’t too frustrating, as it typically doesn’t cut out again after the initial error. It also frustrates me that I can’t connect to multiple devices at once, as many other low-quality Bluetooth headphones I’ve had can connect to two devices at once, but it isn’t a deal breaker. They stay connected for long periods of time otherwise. Conclusion:In my experiences with them over the past year, the Soundcore Sport X10 has fabulous audio quality and amazing waterproofing, with comfort lasting for hours. In addition to the case not keeping the earbuds from falling out, there are a few minor things that I didn’t like. Otherwise, I think these are a great choice for sports use, working out, or staying at home! I’ll certainly be continuing to use these earbuds for a while yet.

I purchased this earbud specifically for the gym to replace my 2 years old Power Beat Pro. I was struggled to find a good headphone that will stay in place while I do my cardio. After a week of use, below are my opinions:Like:1. The silicone over the ear hook is very soft and comfortable. I do not feel anything at all while wearing it.2. It is very light weight. Even the case is very light. Make it comfortable to wear and carry.3. It has physical button on the headphones. I hate the censor one because it never work the way I want it to. The button is much easier.4. The soundcore app is very good and allow a lot of customization for the headphone.5. Sound quality is way over its price. Ok, it’s not Sony quality, but it is also cost only 1/4 of Sony.6. When I put the headphone back into the case, the light show up to let me know that I put it in correctly.7. Very good waterproof rating. Can easily rinse it under the water after every gym.Dislike:1. The silicone hook can only twist one way. It takes some use to to not twist it the wrong way and break it.Once again, I use this only inside the gym, so I cannot comment on its performance during the phone call, etc… Outside the gym I have my Sony for everything else. This is my first soundcore product and I am blown away.

Enjoy the bass guitar grooves in ANC mode, especially if you have a Dolby player that phones like Motorola support out of the box. Love the sound quality. Much better than the Bose earbuds I had earlier, when it comes to basic fit and comfort. Value for money. Super easy to connect. Overall, a good quality product. Battery life is all good.
