A triumphant return from the 90’s, with very minor stumbles
A beautiful remaster of the first two entries in one of my favorite game series ever. Sure, there are some low points, jokes removed and dialogue changed, but for the most part it’s one-to-one a faithful remaster. The weakest part would be that, while some QoL changes were made to 1, it’s still rather clunky and cumbersome with the inventory system, and the party formations sometimes can mess you over. But in the end, it’s still a very good remaster, worth the purchase!

Loved the game as a kid. Crazy getting back into these 25 years later but the new polish gives it a reason to play again. The best part about replaying games from the past is you know what you’re getting. You’re not going to play it one day and it’s bugged out from the new updates and micro transactions that get in the way of enjoying something that actually has an ending.Definitely get your hands on the physical copies. Don’t give them a reason to restrict future games to streaming only.
