Easy to install and works well
I had a similar, larger light in my music room that suddenly simply didn’t want to work with the app anymore. I could delete it, re-add it to smartlife, and control it once or twice then it would be offline again. So time to replace it.This one had a decent price, and more importantly, didn’t require some annoying little third party app that would only be used for this one item. I’ve got nearly 150 devices on my home network, and only get things that are compatible with Smartlife, Kasa, or VeSync.What made me even happier was that this one used the same mounting base the other one did, so I simply unscrewed that old one, disconnected the wires, connected them to this, and screwed it in. About 60 seconds of work.Smartlife saw it instantly, got it connected and renamed, and once again I have a reliable smart device I can voice control regularly.Gives enough light for the area, and I like the color bar on the top for when I just want indirect mood lighting.

Great product at a great price
Need a “smart home” controllable light that is bright (in the white range) and will also provide RGB ambiance lighting? This is your purchase!relatively easy to install (the bracket center hole is sorta small. I found it easier to leave the bracket on the light, connect the wires, disconnect the bracket, attach bracket to ceiling, reattach light to bracket.)Easy to set up with Smart Life app. This app is sorta janky but it works, and once you’ve got the lights connected to your network Alexa will pick them right up. Once connected just turn your light switch on and off an on about 5 (or more) times real quick and the light will blink. This means its in setup mode. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.5G wifi.Alexa set “Light name” blue sets ambiance light blue. etc.

If you’re buying it simply for the nightlight
Don’t. I will admit the blue nightlight caught my attention and made me buy it. The light is super bright and great. Installation is super easy, but if you have textured ceilings, know that you’re going to have to remove the texture to get these flushed to the ceiling. They seem very sturdy and they are very sleek. Look that blend very well with the ceiling. The only problem I have is the blue nightlight really doesn’t do much. It’s not enough lumens to see anything. I have lights that have a regular nightlight color rather than blue and they work much better. I will admit the blue caught my attention and that’s why I bought it so it’s probably my fault for not understanding that blue light was probably not the best for me. But it’s four stars just simply for the fact that the blue isn’t worth it for me. The price is extremely reasonable considering I got two for one cost at a big box store, installation is easy, and I’m really happy. So I recommend them yes, but not for the nightlight feature that’s the only reason you’re buying them.

Best quality LED Smart Light With Alexa Control
I bought 2 other brands and this I can share with you:1) Smart lights mean they work with an App, but may not work with Alexa or Google unless it says so.2) Other manufactures LED may not be as bright and they may come with a remote, but frankly, who needs a remote if you want your LED to work with Alexa.3) You need Alexa or Google Smart Home App to give voice commands.4) Make sure your LED manufacture is listed in your Alexa App before you buy.5) Connecting to your home router may require you to enter you SSID manually. (No big deal.)Conclusion: This Tolaya 12″ LED Alexa capable Smart LED is a very well made product. It connects to the Smart Life App easily and quickly. Same goes for setting up Alexa. And the voice commands work very fast.Also, with Alexa App you can set routines to have your light turn on at a particular time and/or turn off.Love it! Just buy an Echo device and install Alexa App to control this Tolaya LED and you will be very pleased! (5-stars)

Extremely frustrating light – flashes bright light when it resets constantly
I was really excited when I first bought this light because it enabled me to change the color and the brightness of the light. I have this light in an entry area.Unfortunately, after having this device nearly a year, I am going to throw it away. Nearly every time that I turned it on, the light resets and starts flashing brightly. It’s only supposed to do this if you turn it on and off very quickly three times, however, in practice this has happened unintentionally more times than I can count. Not simply from flipping the switch multiple times but sometimes just from turning it on and off quickly.The light forgets the Wi-Fi and flashes brightly at you until you can get the phone app out and re-add it. I’m not typically very sensitive with light but when it is dark out (as it often is in winter in a Midwestern state) this is extremely alarming. My kiddo is afraid to turn the light on because it resets and they can’t do the app as it is on my phone.I would stay away from this product. It needs a complete redesign on how the pairing and reset process works In order to be functional.

Awesome! I renovated my daughter’s room and bought this one plus some led strips. It literally took me less than 3 minutes to install. It is the first time I find a ceiling light that convenient to install, it’s really very well though! It’s flush with the ceiling and I did not have to spend hours, arms in the air to get it done. Just for that I immediately felt in love with it 😂.The light is very bright (perhaps a bit too much) but the good thing is that you can control it and dim it as needed.The coloured led halo is very nice also. My only regret is that you have to choose between light or halo, both cannot be lit at the same time.Other than that it’s perfect and I will buy another one for my other daughter’s room.The app configuration is easy although I did not manage to make the sharing function work. But we don’t use it anyway, we ask Alexa to turn on/off, dim or change colour.

This was the perfect size for my room and I was surprised by how bright it was! I love that it has 3 settings, and I especially love the pink setting. It’s the perfect brightness for just hanging out in your room and/or watching Netflix. Also, it was super easy to install – I did it myself and even I was shocked. The ONLY downside to this light is that it’s not remote controlled. It is a perfect night light except I can’t sleep with any light on, and so I have to get up and turn it off every time (first world probz lol). Ok I’m done, but I would definitely recommend this light.
