Perfect! So easy to connect and stays connected!
These actually work really well. Love the soft warm light. Easy peasy to set up with the tapo link app and connected flawless ly to my Echoes and Amazon app. Beats some of the other popular brands for ease of use and staying connected. Very pleased with this brand. A+

A smart filament bulb…
There are plenty of less expensive smart bulbs out there, but I’ve bought four of these bulbs so far because they are filament (edison style) bulbs. I have three light fixtures outside my house that have clear glass enclosures and the bulbs look great! It’s a little tricky to get them to connect to the wi-fi for the initial setup. Some of the bulbs required me to reset them by turning the light switch on and off slowly 5 times until the bulb blinks and is ready for programming. You do have to leave your light switch turned on for the bulbs to be controlled through the app, which is great. Once setup is complete, the app allows you to control the brightness of each bulb. This was important to me because the dimmer the bulb gets allows you to see that it has the appearance of an edison / filament bulb without blinding you. It also showcases the beauty of my light fixtures. I needed a little outdoor light – not a beacon – so I keep the bulbs set at about 25% brightness. Also, the app allows you to create custom timers for when each light turns on and off. The lights run on the same Kasa home app as other Kasa products. I also have the Kasa smart wi-fi enabled outdoor plug that I use for my seasonal holiday lights (Easter, Halloween / Fall, and Christmas), which is controlled through the same app as the bulbs.

Functionality works great, easier setup with iOS
First off, if the bulbs are added in the app, they work flawlessly. Grouping and device sharing (so any one with the app in the household [or outside of it with permission ?] can control them,) works flawlessly.Second, there are issues when adding bulbs with Android verses iOS. I was able to add a single bulb of the 4-pack with an Android phone. Tried adding the other 3 multiple times, and NONE of them would connect properly. I tried multiple lamps, in the same room as the main router. Used an iOS phone for the other 3, and they all programmed instantly. For the record, I only tried 1 Android device to set them up, it could perhaps be an issue with that specific device (Pixel 6). Though I was able to easily setup 2 Kasa smart plugs from the same manufacturer last year, with no issue. If I hadn’t run into the connecting issue, I would have rated it 5*. They’re inexpensive (especially when on sale), and don’t have the added cost of the fancy RGB/multicolor stuff. Was legit just looking for decently bright light bulbs that would be controlled with phones.

Great lights, especially for outdoor lamps!
I am very particular about my lightbulbs, and these impress me. They have 600 lumens output which is calculated to be equivalent to a 48W standard bulb. This is a little less than a 60W incandescent bulb (which is about 800 lumens), but most people wouldn’t notice. I took off one star because the bulbs are not very bright in a lamp with a shade. Having said that, they work great for outdoor lanterns where the bulb is visible through glass, and they are also great for indoor lights where the bulb is visible. I just bought new bulbs for new lamps, but I have had a KL50 bulb in 3 outside wall lanterns for 3 years now and have had no problems with any of the bulbs, which is quite remarkable! Outside at night, they are bright enough that I have even dimmed these lights from the full power with the app. I keep the wall switch on (I even taped in in the “on” position), and have the bulbs set on a schedule to turn on at sunset and turn off 30 min before sunrise. The Kasa app is great in that it is able to exercise this schedule and synchronize the bulbs across my house perfectly. Must simpler than wiring in a switch. Incidentally, if the switch is accidentally turned off, obviously the bulbs will turn off, but more importantly, when the switch is again powered, the bulbs will turn back on to their previous intensity and schedule. Also, due to the app, they maintain their schedule after recovering any type of power outage (which is not necessarily true for some switches that require a neutral wire).

Light bulbs for wifi control
Bought these so I could adjust the brightness of each bulb in a 6 bulb light fixture. Worked perfectly. Easy to set up in the Tapo app. The app allows the set up of groups so you can turn some bulbs off/on but not all of the bulbs.

Turns On automatically and resets without warning.
They randomly go on and off on wifi, and the next day all the bulks got a full reset. Not worth the time it takes to set them up.

Simple upgrade
Works well. Its a tplink product. Integrates existing tplink kasa devices to the new Tapo app. Integrates easily to Alexa.

Super easy way to add a security feature to your house. The only thing to remember is that the light switch has to stay on. In my house people see the lights on insecurity mode and assume someone left the switch on and then power them off. Of course the Wi-Fi bulb can’t work if the power is off. Very easy to set up and program.

Los adquirí ya que anteriormente había comprado 3 cámaras Tapo y quería tener todo en una sola aplicación, me gusta el hecho de poder programar su Encendido y Apagado.
