Worth the money for casual viewing.
Ordered and received in December 2024 and just unboxed it and set it up today. Easy set up, nice clear picture, sound is good as well. It’s in the kitchen and the new screen is much larger than the tv we replaced but it fits between the cupboard and counter with enough space to mount on the wall with clearance (barely). We can’t use the supplied feet though.

We loved our TCL TV that we’ve had out in our back patio so well that we bought one for mom’s bedroom. Hasn’t disappointed. The smart TV is smart enough to figure out without much practice. Picture is great. Sound is good. Options are wonderful. Nice TV!

I have had my new TV for about 2 months now. Great Picture. Navigating around it takes some learning and getting used to. I have cable so if I go to the TCL Channel or Google TV I have to go to settings and click on HDMI 1 to get back to my cable service. But that is fine.The TCL Channel is broken up into genres/categories. It works well so far with Google. Still kind of figuring it out though. Everything in my library is accessible on my TV now. It does let you use your google photos as a screensaver. That is cool but it is only when you are using Google TV.The sound is ok but I have a pair of Harman/Kardan speakers that I have used for years hooked up to it and the sound is great. Speaking of sound, I like the options on this TV.Going through settings is a little crazy as there is A LOT! It took me several times to remember how to get to the sleep timer.All in all, I really like this TV and when I can I will just sit and play around with it to learn where everything is. I am sure I won’t use the TCL Channel a lot But I like having Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video buttons on the remote so I don’t have to pull up the apps onscreen. A great value for the price, so far.Update 2/25 – The TV is still working just fine. I recently got rid of cable so started using the TV Remote. It feels a bit cheap and is VERY sensitive when you press buttons. Many times while pressing left or right on the circle, it will skip past the app I want to go to and I have to click back to it. Same with the up and down function on the circle Also, I have tried with two pair but my wireless bluetooth earbuds won’t work with the TV. It says they are paired but the sound comes out of the speakers I have connected.

Amazing quality for the price, it fits my setup perfectly & runs smoothly!! I am overall very happy with this tv and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good tv on a budget!!The only “issue” that I could point out is the light that doesn’t turn off when it is idle, it is quite bright at night. Especially considering that it is in my room.

I should have known better
3 months later and tv is going bonkers!Pro ; TV has an excellent Picture. That’s it for the pros.Cons; Sound is horrible. Remote control is useless now. Will not power on or off tv. I have to manually turn tv on and off with power button under tv. I’ve tried everything that was suggested on tcl website to no avail. Will not pair with a universal remote. And also the tv turns on when not in use. No Picture, just sound! I come home from work in the evening and I hear voices coming from the tv. Happened a half dozen times. Also disconnects from wi-fi constantly. No steady streaming here. And i have top tier wi-fi. I’ve had it with this tv. Tcl and Amazon got my money and I learned a valuable lesson. You get what you pay for. Sometimes cheaper is not always better. That’s my honest review. Take it for what it’s worth.

Good TV, Google sucks though.
As far as TCL brand it’s really pretty good for a budget option. Fair sound quality, decent picture quality and really easy to attach to a wall mount. My issue is that it uses Google as the interface and it’s crap compared to Amazon Fire TV’s. There really isn’t a comparison between the two. If this unit was a Fire TV I would rate it higher.

Best 32 inch 1080p full HD TV for the price
After my family died in 2012, I decided to keep the old 1975 Console TV with hopes of putting in an LED flat panel TV in place of the CRT. Well, 12 years later, I finally got around to doing it. One thing that was stopping me is that 10 years ago, there were no 1080p 32 inch TVs. They were all 720p, and I wanted full HD. There are only 2 manufacturers who make full HD 32″ televisions – Samsung and TCL The Samsung did not fit as well as this TCL. So, after refinishing the cabinet, we put the TCL 32 into the big wood box. The picture is way too good for a $140 television! This is my third TCL and I really like them. 5 years ago the TCL interface was slow. But this 2024 model is very snappy when loading apps and channels. This TV also has Ethernet for internet and Fiber-optic for audio in addition to Bluetooth and WiFi. It is a very nice touch for a TV at this price point and size. Overall, it is a great TV – at ANY price! What do you think of my custom retro console LED TV??

De inicio, el precio es bastante accesible, lo notamos en el material del dispositivo, se siente muy plástico en la parte trasera (como plástico de juguete), es de resaltar que los orificios para montar el soporte son metálicos (he visto equipos con orificios para vesa completamente plásticos); tiene un leve marco por debajo del acrílico de la pantalla, que se descubre al momento de encenderlo, aunque para mi eso no es tan relevante; tienen una buena resolución (en efecto, es full HD 1080p) y buen nivel de sonido. Me dio problemas al momento de hacer las configuraciones finales por medio de QR, por lo que tuve que concluirlas manualmente. Cuenta con las aplicaciones básicas de streaming y YouTube (en mi caso, uso más youtube que cualquier otra). Después de las primeras hora de uso, puedo decir que en general el funcionamiento del equipo parece bueno, solo el control parece fallar porque en ocasiones al dar un clic salta varias posiciones (debería ser completamente funcional), lo que aparentemente se soluciona vinculado la tv al celular para controlarla por medio de la app Google TV. Estaré actualizando mi opinión y las estrellas en unos meses para (en su caso) confirmar el buen (o mal) funcionamiento de la pantalla en el tiempo.Edit 22-09-24 Sigue funcionando adecuadamente después de 4 meses, su velocidad de respuesta sigue siendo buena, buena calidad de imagen, todo bien en general.

Buena compra! la cambie por otra TCL de 32 pulgadas pero 720p, y si hay mucha diferencia. Aparte de contar con todas las amenidades que se esperan de la marca *Bluetooth,Android TV, 2 HDMI, audio out, Optical audio,USB A. tambien el diseno es un poco mas delgado y estetico. Uso la TV a modo de monitor y no me ha decepcionado, muy recomendable.
