The Ultimea Surround Sound system is excellent, and I’m really happy with it.
I ordered this as I started using a projector instead of a tv, and I wasn’t sure how good the native sound was going to be, so it seemed like a perfect opportunity to give my projector room the full surround sound experience. This Ultimea system did not disappoint.Like most surround systems today, this has a soundbar as the primary speaker source. This one is subtantial and provides excellent sound, but this system also comes with a good quality subwoofer that enhances dramatic musical passages beautifully. It also has two surround speakers you can put on opposite side of room because it connects via bluetooth. (Although those two do connect with each other and require an ac outlet). The system works beautifully together, and I am quite impressed with the sound. I have been watching House of David and the Wheel of Time, and as these are very new series recorded in high quality sound, I definitely notice when dramatic moments happen and the speakers kick in.The sound bar seems to be very good quality, and it has a nice display on it. There are touch controls on the top of the bar as well as a very elaborate remote with numerous settings. I am going to have to limit the photos for this, and the video recording of the sound. It does really produce a nice quality sound, but whenever I take nonconventional photos of items liike this, I end up having to do the review over because of the photos, apparently. I’d love to be able to share the sound quality video, but you will have to try for yourself. For the price you pay for this sound system, it is hard to go round. It connects easily, it is less than $150, and it sounds great. It does come with mounting hardware to hang the small speakers on the wall,, and it has the wires you need to connect it, including an optical audio cable if your playback device has that.I think this is one of the better sounds systems I have encountered, and is definitely worth the price. The improvement over what I had is worth every penny of what this costs.

Immersive, Quality Hi-Fi Sound ~ Easy Set Up ~ Generous Cable Length for Rears ~ Can’t Swap Sub
What I like:The sound is immersive and really adds Hi-Fi to the movie-viewing experience!Despite the fact that I have a critical ear as a true audiophile of nearly 5 decades in just about every conceivable aspect of audio equipment, I’m pleasantly surprised by the (overall) sound quality of this package. The system is very easy to set up and get started, and I’d venture to imagine that the connections and set up would also be easily doable for persons not all that savvy with home audio systems.I especially appreciate the adequate length of the cable which connects left/rear surround speaker to the right/rear surround speaker. What I don’t like:I knew, in advance, that the subwoofer wouldn’t offer the power to move enough air to fill my entertainment room with enough low end to satisfy my spoiled ears, so (prior to ordering) I’d intended to use the small, included passive subwoofer for a separate project, and intended to employ a more powerful sub in its place. However, the output port on the back of the central unit features a proprietary connection to the “passive subwoofer” included in the box. I wanted to use a 12″, 200 watt, powered subwoofer, in place of the included sub. Not only that, but the connection cable is hardwired directly into the included sub’s housing, so while it may be possible to find some kind of aftermarket workaround adapter, I just didn’t want to deal with all of it, so I just decided to use this Atmos surround system in a smaller room, making the tiny, included subwoofer better able to produce adequate power output in the smaller listening environment. To be fair, there’s a picture featured on the product page, showing the proprietary output to the sub, but I wrongly glanced at it before ordering, assuming it was a mono RCA connection output, which would have enabled me to make use of my larger subwoofer.I’d consider ordering this item again, but would seriously, first like to see the manufacturer do away with the proprietary connection port, along with the subwoofer being hardwired. Doing so, would provide the consumer great freedom and flexibility in adding their own subwoofer of choice into the mix, providing a far greater and more powerful bass effect.

    Great sounding 5.1 soundbar system
The soundbar setup was not so hard. I needed to plug in 2 power adapters to power the soundbar/subwoofer and the rear speakers. The rear speakers automatically paired with the soundbar via Bluetooth when the soundbar was turned on. However, there is no on/off button for the rear speakers, and the 2 rear speakers themselves are connected with a long wire. I wish both rear speakers are connected wirelessly, but that means each speaker needs to be powered separately. The build quality seems to be very good. Each power adapter port size is different so there is no mistake. The bottom of all the speakers has the non-skid pads and the ports are clearly marked. The package came with an optical and HDMI cable for different connection type. I think the HDMI ARC connection is the preferred method. It even has the volume level control for the prompt tone.As far as the sound quality goes, I think it is very good with deep bass and clear sound. I’ve used other soundbar before without a separate subwoofer unit, and the deep bass sound from the dedicated subwoofer unit is just so much better. I like it a lot when watching movie with great bass sound to reproduce a more realistic sound. The total surround sound system works well, and the sound is great. The remote control has many buttons that covers many functions and options. The soundbar itself responds with LED display so it was easy to see the setting, but the display goes off after a few seconds. I wish there is some kind of small indicator light when the unit is on so that I don’t forget to turn it off after TV is turned off. Overall, I think this is a great buy with great sound.
