Great Affordable, Portable Monitor
I purchased this monitor as a secondary screen for my gaming/workstation setup and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of the product considering the price point. There are not many available monitors on the market that have the versatility this one does at the 15.6″ size point. I was searching for one that could be mounted via a VESA configuration and had a full-size HDMI input. Most other options utilize a mini-HDMI port and very few offer VESA compatibility which is understandable as they are intended to be portable, not necessarily a fixed monitor. While I have never used this product to travel with, I believe it would make for a great on-the-go solution for when a second screen is needed. It is very slim and lightweight and comes with a soft-shell protective cover that doubles as a prop up stand which is convenient. It was also nice to see that every cable you need to setup and use the product came in the box. I did have an issue with my unit a few months past the return date for Amazon, however upon reaching out to Uperfect’s customer support, I was quickly taken care of and offered an expedited replacement for any inconvenience it may have caused. Overall, I’m very happy with the product itself and more so impressed by the after sales support this company offers.

Does everything I need it to, light and easy to set up.
I got the 1080p version of this monitor 2.5 years ago when it was sold under a different brand name or vendor, but it is the same monitor according to Amazon. I got it mainly to be able to work on my various little headless systems around the house (workstation server and laptops w broken screens) when I can’t access them remotely, and for the rare occasion when I need a second monitor for reviewing documents off to the side. Recently I used it to set up a crufty docking station when my laptop’s keyboard finally became unusable. There are multiple cable options and I didn’t have to scour the manual to get it going.For the price, it has worked out just fine for all the above purposes. The speaker sound quality/volume is good and the screen is easy on the eyes. I bought a little Vesa kickstand for it originally, will probably look for an articulating monitor arm because I kind of like this docked setup vs keeping the heavier laptop on my lap, and a keyboard replacement won’t be cheap or easy on this laptop.If you’re looking for something for media or gaming, maybe you’ll want the 4K version or something different altogether, but imo this one is more than satisfactory for telework and heavy multitasking. Nice little monitor at a decent price.

An honest review of the UPERFECT Portable Monitor 4K 16″ | 1200 Nits Laptop Monitor. I have tested the monitor, and the display quality truly deserves a 5-star rating; however, the bundled cover/stand is horrendous. unless you want your monitor to be at a 45-degree angle or lying flat on the table. The picture quality from a MacBook Pro with HDR enabled is nearly the same as the retina display, though with a matte finish rather than the high-gloss finish. I have not used the screen in direct sunlight yet, but with a single USB-C cable i cranked up the brightness to max, and it was very bright, so the 1200 nits i concur that it is bright as F. Video playback is smooth and the same as any monitorr and colors are equally as good as you would expect. I would say buy this for the quality, but also order a stand as well at the same time.
