It’s a beast
I’ve owned this blender for just under a month so far, and it’s excellent. Extremely solid build quality. I haven’t made anything really ambitious with it yet—just shakes and nut milk—but it consistently does a top-quality job.The only thing to know before buying is that with this much power comes a serious amount of noise. At max speed, which is used for the smoothie/shake setting and probably others, this thing is LOUD. It sounds like a lawnmower running in your kitchen. Still worth it for those silky smooth shakes, though!

Looks like brand new. Very quiet in lower speeds.
I was impressed with the electronic motor speed control. It recognizes the container you put in place very quickly. As far as noise goes….I expected more at speed one and hoping for less at 10, but it is a blender and I must say it sounds powerful. Only mixing smoothies so far so not much of a challenge yet. I’ll come back at 90 days and let ya know more.

Meh
Shopping for blenders you quickly discover people are more loyal to the brand of their blender than the brand of their automobile. And when it comes to blender loyalty, few drink the kool-aid with more fervor than owners of the coveted VITAMIX. I’m the type that really enjoys the “deep dive” when researching pretty much anything. After the side by side comparisons, “impartial” reviews, and YouTube rabbit holes my Wife decided this was the model for her. To be honest, the first time we kicked it into high gear I expected an alteration of the space time continuum. I wanted to not only liquify solid tungsten into molten metal, but to do it in front of an awe-inspired court in medieval Camelot. I wanted it to leave absolutely no doubt that this rapidly spinning blade attached to a pitcher was worth the $400 price tag.Disappointed is a gross understatement. One of the primary reasons we wanted the blender was to make our own nut “milks.” I’m a huge fan of pecans, so that was what we tried first. We fired it up at warp factor 10 and let the blender liquify the pecans. My word this thing is loud for a modern machine at this price point. Milk is done. I pour a glass and the consistency can be likened to drinking baby powder. It’s smooth-ish, but still gritty. Unless you have something really specific in mind that you NEED this blender, I’d club down to something much more affordable. It’s spinning blades attached to a pitcher, after all.

Love my A2500
I just started clean eating about a month ago, and thought my regular blender would be sufficient for my morning smoothie. The more I researched the Vitamix, the more I wanted one. I finally watched a comparison video on youtube that convinced me.Wow! I didn’t thing blenders could be this powerful. There is absolutely no pulp or “chunks” in my smoothie now. The self cleaning function is awesome. I can’t wait to make other things in it.I’m thankful for the refurbished version, because I feel less guilty for spending so much on a blender.

Worth the Splurge
I was hesitant on this purchase due to cost. I use it everyday and it hasn’t let me down once.

NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!
This could easily be an overseas made blender, it does have power and works as a blender should work, but for $400 IMHO is a rip-off.. The construction is very plasticy and feels cheap, looks nice and I’m sure the brand name is appealing for some folks, but I can’t careless for the name, it feels like a regular cheap blender, slightly bigger and with more power. NOT a $400 renewed and I’d be returning it if I paid $500 for a new one. Waiting for a Waring.
