I have bought many of Wyze cameras, easy to install, works spectacularly well. I wish it was possible to connect camera to multiple Wi-Fi, I wish camera could alternate between best signal available. This a GOOD system, you can buy as many as you want, no limits…impressive product with constant updates….I love my wyze cameras! I own more than 30 different models over the years and all works!!!

Inspite of setting the cameras, top camera stays facing up, the other has delayed capture. Keeps going offline, thought having SD card, would last longer to view continuously:(

Nice? Finally dumped the Nest echo system.
This thing is sweet. I tried a few other dual cameras products like reolink, but was disappointed at the cost and video quality. I had originally tried two nest outdoor cams pointing opposing angles, but that was very expensive with the subscriptions per camera old plans. For the price of one year subscription for my two nest outdoor cameras, I was able to purchase the duo and v3 pan. I was shocked at how much even the 2k quality is over my 10 year old nest outdoor cameras. I used to swear by Nest, but I am sick of the constantly changing subscription terms and price hikes. They cancelled my old grandfathered plan and now have a crappy one that only records motion for $100 a year on top of a couple hundred plus for the cameras originally. I’ve had multiple indoor Wyze cams and decided to stick with one system. If Wyze only made a smoke detector to replace the obsolete Nest protect, I would be in cloud 9. I like Wyze, because it is affordable, innovative and I learned local to Seattle. Great cams and company! Keep up the good work. I have tried their reasonable subscription and it was ok. I do like the SD card storage over Nest’s cloud only. Give it a try. Black would be a nice addition for the color scheme and a carbon dioxide smoke detector of course! I own 7 Wyze cameras, a smart bathroom scale and smart gun safe…need a Wyze toothbrush and coffee maker to really integrate my life.

Great Image, Not As Reliable As I Expected
Image on both cameras is good, Initially, I set this one with fixed camera in the lower position but I decided to go with the pan camera on the lower position. This requires to rotate the image 180 degrees, which is not a big deal with Wyze cameras. After doing this, the camera regularly moves pointing to the sky instead of towards the front. I lost count on the number of times I have calibrated it. Moving the pan camera manually is really hard, the camera is not as responsive as the pan cam. My biggest issue with Wyze cameras, as we have 19 cameras installed, is how unsable is the app. We have 2GB fiber internet, mesh routers covering the whole block and more and the connections take for ever on some of the cameras, or the y would simply not connect. With this cameras, many times when connecting, it shows the images on picture attached, time not progressing and the same cloud in the same position, then it disconnects and when connecting again then it will update the video feeds. Hopefully an upcoming firmware upgrade takes care of these issues. I have plugged the power supply for most cameras to smart plugs to reboot them when they do not connect. I’m seriously considering dropping Wyze and going with POE cameras.
