Over Promised and Under Delivered
I thought I did my due diligence and found the ultimate pair of headphones for long working sessions on Microsoft Teams, but after two days I soon realized they needed to go. This setup almost hit every item I needed and achieved the following flawlessly:Last more than 8 hours on one chargeCharge wirelesslyFaster to the draw of accepting callsBoom mic automatically mutes when moved up and lets you know with a voice promptListeners say I sound very clear andAble to connect to two PCs and seamlessly transition between the two.Where it missed:Comfort level declined after two hours of wear and constant adjustments, I no longer want to put these headphones on.This one is not the portable version.Popping sound on my end only for certain calls.I had to have the volume up higher (84) than normal (59) to hear comfortably.Did not work for Zoom.Software doesn’t have enough functionality to adjust how much ambient or noise control we need.Software worked on WIN11 box but not on WIN10All of the buttons only disconnected my calls, none activated teams or soft phone, as manual described and I could not get Teams integrated with the headphones.I have created a Sev 2 support ticket to try to work with Yealink, but they state only partners will get priority attention. So I submitted a ticket as a partner on 7/7/24, three days later, still no response or indication that it has been assigned to a technician. I received better technical support through Amazon, who deemed the device defective.I’m returning this set and opting for the Yealink BH76Plus with hopes it is my glass slipper.

Works great
I’ve had the same headset since 2020 and it kept disconnecting. One of my coworkers got sick of dealing with me and my tech issues and got me these instead. I liked them so much, I got a second pair for my home office. Works well with teams, pretty good range, and it has good sound to listen to music.

An expensive (and worthwhile) headset for the WFH professional.
I currently have this dual homed. The ‘PC’ portion is hooked up to a KVM (through the USB1.1 port). I did this to see if it would work and be registered on my notebook that is hooked up to this, so I could use it potentially through my other KVM connected devices (and it works!). The ‘phone’ portion of this is hooked up to the headset of a Cisco DX650. The solution is not elegant (lift the handset manually), and it works. I do have some Polycomm’s and Yaelink phones that are supposed to work via the USB connection which I may get around to testing.Very happy with compatibility so far though. The fidelity for both received audio and broadcast audio is great. I typically used a set of Bluetooth Galaxy Pro’s for my work calls through my cell phone, and the move to VOIP audio through my PC utilizing this headset didn’t miss a beat. I work in a noisy office and the noise cancellation is top notch. I especially like the ability to move more than 20-30 feet from my devices, using DECT.All in all the footprint for these is pretty unobtrusive. Can’t complain about the space they take.Really dig the ‘lift to mute’ on the mic boom. Easy to get mute with one gesture really. An improvement in my opinion from hitting the mute button on my cell phone, or finding it within the WebEx / Zoom / MS Teams application. The headset is very lightweight and comfortable (I’m often on conference calls for hours at a time, or all day with multiple conference calls). Sometimes the cant requires adjustment (for me) to realign the headset with the center of my head. As always, your mileage may vary with fit. These are not a cheap headset, and that’s reflected in the price. Given how well they work (and the stellar compatibility so far), I’d say they are a great value, especially for those who spend a lot of time on the phone or professionals working from home.

Just not good
Had to upgrade to Windows 11 just to get this working and it frequently disconnects. It’s impossible to get tech-support from these people so I just gave up.Hardware seems well-made and the wireless charging is effective and the battery life is long. But communicating is the priority for a communication headset and the constant disconnects or driving me crazy. The inability to get any response from Yealink was the final straw. I threw it in the closet and haven’t really addressed it since.

Worth it
I am u sing this dive only as a USB connection to a computer for Teams communication. Works very well. and did not require any special configuration. I love that it has the function on the mic to flip up to mute.
